Who we are

Fontallerta Fields is the brainchild of Guido and Tina, owners of the Fontallerta farm.

The project brings together the same ideals and standards that they have applied to their farm in Montaione and the restaurant, Le Lune in Florence; to appreciate the land and what it offers to us.

Seeing the childrens' happiness when running in the fields and when they first manage to climb a tree, it is easy to see the immediate benefits of outdoor play for their development. Playing with dirt, rocks, leaves, climbing trees, walking in the woods are all unforgettable moments for our little ones.

The idea of opening their 25 hectares of land in the city to nature learning and activities was something that they couldn't overlook, the idea of making the space in English goes that one step further to offer the opportunity of learning an important skill for their future in an easy and fun way.

What we do

We offer to the children a way to appreciate the natural world around them and what it can give to them in return.

We offer them a moment in their busy days to be free, imaginative, creative and dirty!

We offer them the possibility of learning English outside the classroom in an organic and easy approach of full immersion.

We offer them the chance to learn artisan and outdoor skills that are both fun and educational.
